Entrance and stairwell of an old villa

For this project, the entrance area and stairwell of an old villa were redesigned with new colours. The aim was to create a calm, clear atmosphere that would complement the historic architecture and harmoniously integrate existing features.

Parma Gray by Farrow & Ball was used in the small vestibule – a muted shade that provides a suitable backdrop for the owners’ Biedermeier cabinet and visually expands the room.

Elephant’s Breath was chosen for the stairwell. The soft grey blends harmoniously with the warm wood tones of the staircase and gives the area a timeless, elegant effect.

The result is an overall look that preserves the substance of the house while creating a modern, calm spatial effect.
